About the role

SENDCO Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School Full-time, permanent Salary: MPS/UPS plus SEN Allowance Required to start: November (Term 2) or January An exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate of exceptional ability to join our team as SENDCO in this inclusive and diverse primary school. Your supportive role will enable children and their families to access good educational provision as soon as they join our school. The SENDCo is a valued member of the Senior Leadership Team, providing strategic leadership for inclusion and SEND across the school. The post will be non-class based but there will be times when SLT may be needed for cover in the classroom. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals who: Are strong classroom practitioners with a clear understanding of high-quality teaching Are passionate about inclusion and committed to ensuring that all children can access learning and succeed Want to play an active role in shaping and developing learning experiences that meet a wide range of needs Value working as part of a supportive and caring team Are motivated by making a difference to the outcomes and experiences of children The purpose of the role is to lead and coordinate provision for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring that all children receive the support they need to achieve well and feel fully included in school life. This is an opportunity to play a central role in shaping inclusive practice across the school, working alongside committed colleagues to ensure that every child is supported to thrive. We are looking for a leader who is approachable, thoughtful and decisive - someone who builds trust, develops staff and is confident in leading the next phase of the school’s journey.
