Throughout this role as a SEND TA, you will be required to support learners on a one-to-one basis in class, and to help within small groups of two to six learners at one time. The day-to-day support isn't just focused on supporting learners academically, throughout the day there will be focus on assisting them with both their social and behavioural needs too. The aim of this role is to help ensure that both the social and learning aspect of education is made accessible for all learners no matter what needs or challenges they may face.
The role will initially be offered on a temporary basis, subject to successful completion of the probationary period and the availability of the school budget moving forward.
