DENBIGH PRIMARY SCHOOL Denbigh Road, Luton, Bedfordshire LU3 1NS www.denbighprimary.com SITE AGENT (1) L4 (Point 9 - 14) = £28,153 - £30,515 per annum Full Time - 37 Hours Per Week

Governors wish to appoint a dedicated and professional Site Agent who will share their commitment of maintaining and developing an outstanding learning environment, for the pupils and staff.

Principal duties and responsibilities include:

Security and safety of premises, including opening and closing Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness Maintaining the premises in an excellent state of repair Grounds maintenance, including weeding and gardening Heating and lighting The successful candidate(s) will:- Have the ability to work in a flexible manner with a ‘can do’ approach. Be energetic, enthusiastic and take extreme pride in how our school looks and functions. Possess a good range of skills and experience in carrying out handyman tasks and general maintenance. Be aware of Health & Safety Regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment, and understand how they apply in a school environment. Be able to communicate effectively with a range of people including children, staff, parents, visitors and contractors. Be approachable, well motivated and able to work on own initiative. Be able to use a computer to log health and safety data, complete online training and access the school's internal management information systems. The position is 37 hours per week worked on a split shift. We warmly welcome and encourage interested candidates to arrange an informal visit to the school by arrangement through the school office.
