About the role

Make a real difference - Be the heartbeat of our school and keep our school running well. We're looking for a skilled, hands-on Site Supervisor to join our school community — someone who takes ownership, works with pride and understands that a well-run site is the foundation everything else is built on. The Role 36.5 hours per week | 6:00am - 2:00pm You'll be the first through the door each morning and the reason the day runs smoothly. From planned maintenance to reactive fixes, from health and safety compliance to coordinating contractors — you'll keep every corner of our site safe, clean and ready for the 300 children and staff who depend on it every day.

What you'll be doing:

Maintaining buildings and grounds to a consistently high standard — repairs, decorating and general upkeep Opening the site, managing alarms and keeping the premises secure Operating heating systems and building management systems Coordinating external contractors — catering, cleaning and grounds — to ensure quality and efficiency Supporting room set-ups, furniture and equipment moves as needed Managing waste and keeping the site clean, tidy and presentable Supporting out-of-hours use of the premises Ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation and best practice

What we're looking for:

Practical, resourceful and able to turn your hand to most things Proactive — you spot issues and fix them before they become problems Solid working knowledge of health and safety requirements A confident, positive communicator with staff, contractors and visitors Reliable, self-motivated and calm under pressure Someone who takes real pride in their environment

What we offer:

The chance to be part of a supportive, ambitious Trust with real opportunities to grow Trust-wide collaboration — you won't be working in isolation, you'll be backed by experienced leaders and a responsive central team A comprehensive wellbeing package, because we look after our people A vibrant, diverse community with strong family and partner links Ready to apply? Download the job description and person specification for full details — and if you'd like to see the school for yourself, we'd love to welcome you. Contact the school office to arrange a visit.
