About the role

Permanent/ Full Time/ fULL yEAR Grade 5, SCP 6-11 £26,847 - £29,071 fte [£21,042 - £22,785 pRO-RATA] Responsible to: Operations Manager Main Location: All Saints’ RC High school Required to commence ASAP The Board of Directors of the Romero Catholic Academy Trust, alongside The Governors of All Saints’ RC High School, are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Site Supervisor to join our existing team. Working closely with our School Operations Manager and alongside the wider site and cleaning teams, you will take a lead role in the day-to-day operation of our school site. This will include overseeing site security, caretaking and cleaning; identifying and prioritising maintenance requirements; carrying out and coordinating repairs; supporting statutory health and safety compliance; managing contractors working on site; and ensuring that our buildings, grounds, equipment and facilities are ready to support the day-to-day life of a busy secondary school. As part of the role, you will also provide practical technician support to our Design Technology teacher, helping with the preparation, organisation and maintenance of equipment, materials and resources required for lessons. You will also help to prepare the school for events, lettings and activities beyond the normal school day and will be a key point of contact for premises-related matters. This is a particularly important appointment for All Saints’ as we begin life in our new school building. We want to establish excellent standards from the outset and protect this significant investment for generations of students to come. We are therefore looking for someone who notices what needs doing, takes pride in doing things well and understands that a well-maintained school is about much more than appearances. It is about providing a safe, calm and welcoming environment where teachers can teach, students can learn and our whole community can thrive. The successful candidate will be practical, organised and dependable, but equally important will be their ability to work positively with others and their commitment to the distinctive Catholic mission and ethos of All Saints’.
