Position: Spanish Teacher Location: Manchester Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS3–KS5 Spanish Teaching Role in a Mixed Comprehensive School A mixed comprehensive school in Manchester is seeking to appoint a Spanish Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from September. This is a full-time role within a supportive and inclusive school that values language learning, cultural understanding, and high-quality teaching. Spanish is a valued subject within the school, with students encouraged to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing while gaining an appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures. About the Role You will teach Spanish across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ communication skills and linguistic confidence. Students will build vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, translation, and conversational fluency through a range of interactive and structured learning activities. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Spanish examinations, supporting them in developing strong language skills, cultural awareness, and exam confidence. You will work collaboratively within a successful MFL department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
