Position: Spanish Teacher Location: Nottingham Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS3–KS5 Spanish Teaching Role in a Girls’ Academy A girls’ academy in Nottingham is seeking to appoint a Spanish Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from September. This is a full-time role within a school that values academic achievement, confidence-building, and cultural awareness. Spanish is a popular subject within the academy, with strong uptake at GCSE and A-Level. Students are encouraged to develop communication skills, independence, and a wider understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures. About the Role You will teach Spanish across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering lessons that develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Students will build vocabulary, improve grammatical accuracy, and strengthen confidence in written and spoken communication through structured and engaging lessons. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Spanish examinations, supporting them in developing fluency, analytical skills, and exam technique. You will work collaboratively within the Languages department to maintain high standards of teaching and assessment.
