Position: Spanish Teacher Location: Winchester Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS3–KS5 Spanish Teaching Role in a Grammar School A grammar school in Winchester is seeking to appoint a Spanish Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from September. This is a full-time role within a selective and academically ambitious environment that values language learning, cultural awareness, and student achievement. Spanish is a popular subject within the school, with strong uptake at GCSE and A-Level. Students are encouraged to develop fluency, confidence in communication, and a deeper understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures. About the Role You will teach Spanish across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering lessons that develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Students will build vocabulary, improve grammatical accuracy, and strengthen confidence in written and spoken communication through engaging and structured lessons. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Spanish examinations, supporting them in developing fluency, analytical skills, and exam technique. You will work collaboratively within the Languages department to maintain high standards of teaching and assessment.
