Salary: Grade 6 (SCP 9-15), FTE £28,153 - £31,015 p.a. Actual Annual Salary £24,324.75- £26,797.57 p.a.

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8am - 4pm Monday - Thursday, 8am - 3.30pm Friday)

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only (including Inset Days)

Responsible to: Headteacher; Deputy Headteacher(s); Assistant Headteacher (s)

The Friary School part of the Primitas Learning Partnership is a well-established academy, heavily over-subscribed, and nationally amongst the highest performing schools of its type. We are seeking to appoint a committed, proactive, enthusiastic and highly motivated Student Support Assistant to join our dedicated and caring pastoral team. This will involve building positive relationships with young people, providing guidance and support, promoting positive behaviour, and helping students to overcome barriers to learning. The role requires someone who is empathetic, resilient and approachable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We are looking for an individual with a genuine passion for supporting young people, a commitment to safeguarding, and a desire to help every student achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
