About the role

St Raphael the Archangel CMAT are looking to recruit a Teacher of English. This role will be based at St Benedict's Catholic High School. This position is fixed term until 31 May 2027 and full time, however part time can be considered. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Teacher of English to provide stimulating and dynamic teaching for a vital area of our school. The successful candidate will provide initiative and innovation and will deliver lessons that foster a love of their subject through enthusiasm, and expertise. We are looking for a highly-skilled and motivated teacher who can demonstrate a commitment to the development of exceptional teaching and learning in their subject. We expect that you will inspire students to achieve their academic potential, as well as developing them into confident, respectful individuals. Applications are welcome from all suitable candidates. However, successful candidates must be fully supportive of the school’s Catholic ethos. ECTs may apply. We would also consider secondments from other schools within St Raphael the Archangel CMAT. This would need to be with the agreement of your current Headteacher.
