About the role
Join a dynamic, supportive PE department in a forward-thinking school.
Due to a valued member of staff commencing their maternity leave in the Spring term, we are seeking to appoint a Teacher of PE on a one-year fixed term basis. You will join a strong and supportive team of experts, who are fun, welcoming and creative. The successful candidate will be confident in teaching PE at KS3, KS4 and KS5 to all abilities. You will also be passionate about sharing their love of sport and fitness beyond the classroom through extra-curricular activities. Our schemes of work are extremely detailed and support and CPD would be provided.
In return for your passion, commitment and drive, we offer a highly supportive working environment, students who are keen to learn, and outstanding continued professional development opportunities. Our PE department benefits from modern accommodation and excellent facilities.
King’s Academy Easthampstead Park is a vibrant community built on timeless values and modern aspirations. We don’t just teach; we empower. Through our research-based approach to 'Quality First' teaching, we provide a broad and engaging curriculum that develops the whole child. Our goal is simple: to cultivate the confidence, skills, and self-esteem every student needs to unlock their true potential.
This is a very exciting time to join us. In November 2022, we joined King’s Group Academies (KGA). This has created excellent opportunities for teachers to share ideas and approaches across schools, for the benefit of our students. Our February 2026 OFSTED inspection report noted:
“Pupils enjoy coming to their happy and inclusive school. There is a strong ethos of mutual respect, courtesy and care for others.”
“Pupils behave well in lessons and around school. They value the educational opportunities that they receive and want to succeed. Knowing their teachers have high expectations and want the very best for them encourages pupils to take pride in their work. Pupils confidently ask for help when they need it.”
We aspire to provide an exceptional quality of education, driven by a core belief that all of our students deserve nothing but the best possible teaching and support in order to be happy, healthy and successful. If you feel you have the necessary skills, mindset and determination to join us on our journey, we would very much like to hear from you. Visits to the school prior to application are warmly welcomed.
Applications will be considered upon request; candidates are warmly encouraged to submit their application as soon as possible to stand the best chance of success.
King’s Group Academies is seeking an exceptional classroom teacher to join our Trust at an exciting time of growth and development. As part of a dedicated team across our schools, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning, supporting pupils to achieve their full potential, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.
Working closely with school leaders and colleagues, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners. You will create a classroom environment where pupils feel safe, supported and challenged, and where high expectations and strong relationships underpin success. You will also contribute to the wider life of the school, supporting enrichment opportunities and collaborating with colleagues to continuously improve practice.
You will be committed to promoting pupil wellbeing, inclusion, and a love of learning, while upholding the Trust’s values of Honesty, Faith and Courage in your daily work. Through effective assessment and feedback, you will monitor progress and adapt your teaching to ensure all pupils can succeed.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people across diverse communities, while developing your own practice within a supportive Trust.
