Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing and creative EYFS teacher to join our team and lead a Reception class of up to 15 children. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about giving young children the very best start to their education and creating a learning environment where every child can thrive. With a small class size, you will have the opportunity to know each child exceptionally well, understand their individual strengths, interests and needs, and use this knowledge to provide purposeful, engaging and carefully tailored learning experiences. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across the EYFS curriculum, developing a stimulating and language-rich learning environment, and supporting children to develop the foundations they need for future success. We value play-based learning alongside high-quality adult interactions, purposeful provision and ambitious expectations for all children. You will work closely with colleagues across the school, sharing ideas and expertise and contributing to our wider curriculum and school community. We are committed to supporting professional development and would welcome a teacher who is keen to develop their own practice and contribute to the continued development of our EYFS provision. This role would suit an experienced EYFS teacher or an enthusiastic teacher looking to develop their expertise in the Early Years within a small, supportive and forward-thinking school. If you would like more information about this role or about our school please contact us via the details below. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020. We are part of the Blue Kite Academy Trust, a growing family of primary schools based in Swindon and Wiltshire, who offer excellent CPD and career opportunities, a competitive salary with scope for progression, a commitment to nationally agreed pay and terms, an excellent pension scheme and free staff health and well-being support.
