About the role

St. Peter’s Catholic Primary School is a warm, vibrant and caring two-form-entry primary school in the heart of Gloucester. We are inclusive of everyone and proud of our loving ethos. We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our inclusive and sought-after school in the heart of Gloucester. This post will be in Lower Key Stage 2.

The successful candidate will:

Uphold the Catholic ethos and inclusive culture of the school (please note - being Christian is not a requirement of the role); Possess a love of children and a passion for teaching and learning; Have a secure understanding of curriculum and pedagogy; Have character and personality; Work collaboratively with others; Be courageous in their approach to making a difference for all children: academic and pastoral; Be open minded, keen to learn and have a positive outlook (solution-focused); Have high levels of energy and an enthusiastic approach; Be ambitious for self, for children and for the school; Demonstrate a commitment to being the best they can be; Have a secure working understanding of safeguarding.
