Are you an enthusiastic and inspirational Business teacher looking for an opportunity to join a successful and forward-thinking Sixth Form College? Franklin Sixth Form College are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Business to join our popular and successful curriculum area. Full-time, part-time and other flexible contract arrangements will be considered, and we are happy to discuss working patterns with candidates to find an arrangement that reflects their experience, skills and circumstances. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic teacher to contribute to the delivery and development of a broad and varied Business curriculum. The successful candidate will be involved in teaching across our BTEC, T Level and A level programmes, with opportunities to teach Business at Level 2 and Level 3. Depending on your experience and subject expertise, there may also be opportunities to contribute to related curriculum areas, including Travel & Tourism, Management and Administration, Finance and Economics. You will play an important role in supporting our students to achieve their full potential through the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning and assessment. You will be expected to plan and prepare engaging lessons, monitor and evaluate student progress, support achievement, retention and progression, and contribute positively to curriculum development within the Department. The role also provides opportunities to contribute to the wider work of the College, including quality assurance, course development, assessment planning, resource development, student recruitment and induction, open evenings and liaison with partner schools. You will work collaboratively with colleagues within the Department and across the College to support an outstanding student experience. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about their subject, committed to high standards of teaching and learning, and able to inspire and motivate students. You will have the ability to develop positive relationships with students and colleagues and make a positive contribution to the continued development of the curriculum area and the wider College community. The successful candidate will also share the College’s commitment to safeguarding, Prevent, equality, diversity and inclusion, and to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment in which all students can thrive.
