About the role
Teacher of Religious Studies
Maternity Cover
Full Time or 0.8 would be considered
Main Pay Range/Upper Pay Range
Required November 2026 (To be discussed at interview)
The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint an inspirational and talented Teacher of Religious Studies to join us for a Maternity Cover. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

You should have a passion for challenging students to achieve their best possible outcomes through inclusive learning and be able to teach across the ability range from KS3 to KS4.

be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record in raising achievements and attainment.
be committed to inclusion, high expectations and raising standards
have enthusiasm and a strong commitment to achievement, safeguarding and welfare of all students
have humour, perspective and an ability to bring out the best in others
support extra-curricular activities
