About the role

What we need

We are seeking to recruit an exceptional full time Teacher of Teacher of Social (Health & Social Care and/or Sociology, but Psychology will also be considered) to join us in January 2027. The successful candidate will be looking for an opportunity to enhance their career in the classroom and have the ability to effectively develop their pedagogy and practice. In addition, you will need to be an enthusiastic, lively and versatile teacher with a passion for your subject and the desire to contribute to the development of the Social Sciences faculty and the Academy as a whole.

The post would suit experienced teachers or ECTs, for whom an effective induction scheme is in place. The role involves teaching across key stage 3, 4 and 5.

This is an exciting time to join the Academy and support its improvement with an opportunity to make a difference within the subject area and across the Academy.
