About the role

Sprowston Community Academy and Sixth Form Cannerby Lane Sprowston Norwich NR7 8NE Email: recruitment@bhetrust.co.uk Headteacher: Liz Wood Vacancy Teacher of Science (Ability to teach Physics GCSE would be advantageous) Fixed term until 31st July 2027 Salary MPS/UPS range, suitable for ECT To commence January 2027 / ASAP (can start sooner than January 2027 subject to all checks being completed) “Being the best version of Sprowston that we can be” We are looking to appoint a teacher of Science to join a successful and vibrant department. The applicant appointed will be highly motivated, hard-working and passionate about their subject. We would especially welcome applications from those able to also teach Geography or Maths. The successful applicant will: Be committed to the pursuit of excellence in all activities relating to Science demonstrated by a drive to strongly improve attainment, positive attitudes to learning and positive experiences so that all students are prepared for the next stage in their education, training or employment in Science based or other areas.

Contribute to the success of Science overall.

good organisational skills and high standards;

a resilient individual who can adapt to changes in educational theory and practice;
