Do you have a passion for animal care and a talent for inspiring the next generation? East Durham College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Animal Care Teacher to join our team and lead engaging, high-quality lessons across a range of levels.

What you’ll do:

Deliver dynamic and inclusive lessons in animal care, using innovative teaching methods and technologies.

Support and guide students to achieve their full potential, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.

Lead assigned programmes, ensuring effective organisation, assessment, and administration.

Collaborate with colleagues to design and develop curriculum content that reflects industry needs and prepares students for future careers.

Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to quality assurance processes.

Build strong relationships with employers, parents, and stakeholders to enhance the reputation of the college.

Participate in student visits, events, and wider college activities.
