About the role

Are you an ambitious and talented Maths teacher looking for the next step in your career? Blessed William Howard Catholic High School, part of the St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi Academy Trust, is seeking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic KS4 Lead Teacher of Maths to join our successful Mathematics Department from January 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about raising achievement and ensuring every student can fulfil their potential. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and developing Key Stage 4 provision, supporting colleagues, driving curriculum improvement and promoting outstanding outcomes in Mathematics. About You

You will:

Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a strong track record of securing positive outcomes in Mathematics. Have high expectations for both student achievement and behaviour. Be able to lead, motivate and support colleagues effectively. Be committed to continual professional development and educational excellence.
