About the role

Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages Heathside Weybridge Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 8UZ Start Date: January 2027 (or earlier for the right candidate) Permanent - Full-time or Part-Time MPR/UPR (fringe) French and/or Spanish Applications welcomed from ECT’s and more experienced candidates Heathside Weybridge is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspirational Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our vibrant and supportive MFL department. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in French and/or Spanish, with the confidence to teach both languages to KS4. The successful candidate will: Be confident and enthusiastic about teaching French and/or Spanish to KS4. Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for language education. Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging and appropriately differentiated lessons that inspire students and support excellent progress over time. Set high expectations and provide appropriate challenge and support to ensure that all students can succeed. Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively. Create a positive, inclusive and purposeful learning environment that promotes student participation, wellbeing and achievement. Contribute positively to curriculum development and the wider life of the MFL department. Support and contribute to extra-curricular language activities and opportunities that enrich students' experience of languages. Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to our supportive and positive department culture.
