Teaching & Learning Lead Salary: MPR, £37.870- £50.474 per annum or UPR, £52,219 - £56,154 per annum + SEN Allowance £2,787 + TLR 2 £3, 527 Permanent, Full Time Start Date: January 2027 An exciting opportunity for career development within a brand, new specialist school. Grand Union Village School is seeking an exceptional teacher to become one of our new Teaching & Learning Leads with responsibility for a Core Learning Area. The core learning area depends on the expertise of the successful applicant in Communication, Language & Literacy or Mathematical Development. The Teaching & Learning Lead plays a key strategic and operational role in ensuring high-quality teaching, learning and provision. The post holder will guide, support and motivate staff, contribute to curriculum development and ensure effective leadership of designated learning areas. An understanding of early childhood development and/or experience of teaching in an Early Years setting are desirable. Experience of teaching pupils with additional needs is not essential; being creative, flexible and open to learning is. Grand Union Village A 97-place primary school for children 4 - 11 years with severe learning disabilities, physical and complex needs, including autism. Based on Ballinger Way, Hayes, Northolt. UB5 6GG. The school is designed to accommodate the latest developments in child-centred learning and therapy provision for children including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory provision and purpose-built therapy rooms. Our curriculum provides child led, motivating and functional learning opportunities ensuring that all interactions are high quality and purposeful. Our curriculum is designed to enable learners to be the very best they can be ensuring that communication, independence and active learning are at the heart. A bespoke induction programme will be offered.
