Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our existing friendly team. You would be supporting the Nursery Teacher in providing a high standard of childcare for children between the ages of 2 and a half years and 5 years old. We pride ourselves on providing a stimulating, friendly and positive environment that is physically and emotionally secure. Children’s welfare must be of paramount importance together with the commitment to deliver the highest quality education and care.

You will:

Relate to children highly effectively Show initiative and respond to the child’s needs Communicate well with adults and children Keen to learn and improve Preferably have a relevant teaching and learning qualification or working towards a qualification (NVQ L2 or equivalent in Early Childcare) Qualified as a Paediatric First Aider at work or willingness to train Be a team player Be organised and a good timekeeper Be willing to work hard and to learn from the rest of the team
