Teaching Assistant

Saffron Green is a vibrant and inclusive primary school, proudly rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, at the heart of our community, we are looking to recruit a passionate and flexible class support with a focus on nurture and inclusion. This role will be based across Key Stages 1 and 2 (Years 1-6), supporting pupils and class teachers. The successful applicant will be flexible in their approach and have excellent communication skills and strong behaviour management skills. The role involves working with small groups directly and support the class teacher with any classroom duties that may be required. We are looking for someone who shows patience and understands the needs of our vulnerable children, adopting a caring and therapeutic approach. The working pattern for this role will be 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:45 to 15:15, term-time only. The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, medical clearance and references.
