Teaching Assistant

Cavendish Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will initially be based within our Early Years provision, supporting children at the very beginning of their educational journey and helping to create a nurturing, engaging and stimulating learning environment where every child can flourish. Working alongside our experienced Early Years team, you will support children's learning through play, exploration and high-quality interactions, helping them to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning. You will provide both classroom and individual support, contribute to the assessment of children's progress and help ensure all children feel safe, valued and included.

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience of working with young children, ideally within an Early Years setting. Understands the importance of child-centred learning and development. Has high expectations for all children and believes every child can succeed. Is warm, nurturing and able to build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families. Can work effectively as part of a team whilst also using their own initiative. Is committed to supporting the social, emotional and academic development of every child.
