About the role

Anglian Learning is pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join the SEND team at Sawston Village College. Working as part of our friendly and experienced SEND team, you will play an important role in providing targeted support for pupils who may have SEND or another identified vulnerability, helping them to access learning, make progress and achieve their potential. You will support pupils both within mainstream classrooms and through our Compass House inclusion provision, building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers and contributing positively to the wider life of the College. This role is open for flexible working discussions. The successful candidate will: have experience of working with young people in an educational or similar setting be enthusiastic and committed to supporting pupils with SEND and other identified vulnerabilities be able to build positive and effective relationships with young people be adaptable, highly motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection As an employee of Anglian Learning, you would benefit from access to a range of employee benefits and Trust-wide initiatives.
