We are looking for someone who:

Has experience of supporting children within a primary school setting, including those with SEND. Is warm and friendly and develops excellent relationships with pupils, parents and carers. Has high expectations for all pupils and is committed to helping every child succeed. Has a sense of humour and fully embraces all aspects of school life. Works effectively as part of a team and uses their initiative. Can monitor and support children in break and lunch times and ensure they are thriving and safe. Will embrace our school ethos and add to our brilliant team.

Essential:

Level 3 Teaching and Learning Qualification or equivalent. Suitable Level 2 Qualification in English and Mathematics or equivalent.

Desirable:

Experience supporting children with SEND. Paediatric First Aid training. Knowledge of behaviour support strategies and early intervention approaches. Experience delivering interventions to individuals and small groups.

Your role…

As a Teaching and Learning Assistant you'll:

Primarily support teaching and learning within Key Stage 2. Work closely with teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential. Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) through classroom support, interventions and small-group work when required. Promote positive behaviour and high expectations for all pupils. Contribute to our caring and inclusive school culture where every child is encouraged to thrive.
