Breadsall Hill Top Primary School is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and hard-working Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in the nest to maximise the participation of our children. We have an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the team at Breadsall Hill Top Primary School, working full time within The Nest, our developing specialist provision for children with complex autism and significant additional needs. At Breadsall Hill Top, we want every child to feel that they belong, are understood and can succeed. Within The Nest, we are developing a calm, nurturing and highly individualised approach where communication, connection, regulation and engagement are at the heart of learning. The successful applicant will be required to meet the qualification and person specification requirements for the Level 3 Teaching Assistant post, including a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or accepted equivalent. Previous experience of working with children with autism, complex SEND or significant communication needs would be highly desirable, although specialist provision experience is not essential.
