About the role

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage 1 team. This rewarding role will involve supporting pupils across KS1, with a focus on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision and the delivery of high-quality phonics teaching. Working closely with class teachers, the SEND team and wider school staff, you will help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment where all children can achieve their full potential. You will provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, helping to develop early reading, communication, language and social skills, while promoting confidence, independence and a love of learning.
