About the role

Special Resources Provision - Teaching Assistant Longdean School Grade: H4 Hours: 30 hours per week Contract: Term time plus 5 days INSET Start: ASAP Actual salary: £19,141 (H4, pro rata) Longdean School are looking for an TA for their Special Resource Provision to work to raise the learning and attainment of pupils, promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion and give support to students with Speech, Language, Communication needs and/or Autism. You will work with pupils individually or in small groups so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement. You will work as part of a small team working in the SRP and supporting pupils to access mainstream learning. The Longdean School is a good school (Ofsted March 2025).
