Curriculum Teaching Assistant - Maths Robert Barclay Academy Grade: H5 + Outer Fringe Hours: Up to 32.5 hours per week Working Pattern: 9 - 4 Monday to Friday Contract: Term-time plus 5 days INSET Actual Salary : £21,700 per annum (dependent on hours) Start Date: ASAP Robert Barclay Academy is seeking to appoint a confident, motivated and enthusiastic Curriculum Teaching Assistant (Maths). This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for Mathematics and education to play a key role in raising standards of numeracy and supporting students to achieve their full potential in Maths. What you will do: Work alongside Maths teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning in the classroom Provide targeted numeracy support for students, including small group and 1:1 interventions to improve numeracy outcomes Help plan, prepare and organise Maths resources and learning activities Support students of all abilities to build confidence, resilience and success in Maths Contribute to the department’s drive to raise achievement and close gaps in attainment What we are looking for: A strong interest in Mathematics and supporting young people to succeed High personal standards and a commitment to professional growth A proactive, positive and flexible approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Why join us?
