Teaching Assistant

The Parks Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our academy as soon as possible on a part time, temporary basis. Your new role As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Your new school The Parks Primary Academy is located in the heart of Orchard Park, Hull, and is proudly rated by Ofsted as ‘Outstanding’ (November 2023). We are a 1.5 form entry school, catering for pupils from the Early Years Foundation Stage, through to Key Stage 1 and 2, with around 350 pupils on roll. Between 2021 and 2023 the school site underwent large renovation works, including a welcoming entrance area, extensions to the buildings, a large front playground, and full refurbishments throughout the academy. The building and facilities are now modern, spacious and promote a positive approach to learning. The Parks Academy is a great place to learn and work.
