Location: Sidegate Primary School, Ipswich, Suffolk
Contract: Part Time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 8:30-3:30pm, 32.5 hours, term time plus (38.2 weeks)
Salary: ALT Grade D £19,349.38 - £19,809.06 Annually Actual
We are looking for two caring and committed Teaching Assistant's to join Sidegate Primary School, a welcoming primary school in Ipswich where children are encouraged to learn, grow and achieve within a supportive community. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with teachers to support learning, inclusion and wellbeing, helping pupils, including those with additional needs, to overcome barriers and make meaningful progress. This is an opportunity to play a valued part in school life, building positive relationships, nurturing confidence and contributing to an environment where high expectations, collaboration and care help every child thrive.
Previous experience working within an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) environment is desirable.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Support individuals and small groups to access learning and make progress.
Deliver planned learning activities under teacher guidance, adapting support to pupils' needs.
Promote inclusion, independence, positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
Support pupils' social, emotional and personal development, including personal care where required.
Monitor, record and communicate pupil progress, working closely with staff, families and external professionals where appropriate.
