About the role

The role would entail supervising and supporting pupils in the learning environment, whilst assisting the teacher with the implementation of pupil education and Quality First Teaching. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping pupils engage with learning, develop confidence and make progress, while contributing to a positive, nurturing and purposeful learning environment.

Is enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and positive about their role in education and contribution to our whole school community Is committed to supporting, motivating, and challenging the learning of children of all abilities within the classroom Can work creatively with the teacher to establish an appropriate learning environment, meeting the needs of the pupils and curriculum Has a genuine passion for supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. Understands the importance of inclusion and meeting the needs of all learners. Builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families. Demonstrates flexibility, initiative and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school. Shares our commitment to providing an engaging and supportive learning environment. Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school. Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare- both at home and in school.
