You should have: An understanding of children with SEMH needs and challenging Have excellent communication skills Have the ability to build effective relationships with students, parents and other staff The ability to relate in a friendly way with a wide range of personalities The ability to use initiative Be willing to undertake direction and guidance Have a good understanding of positive behaviour management strategies Be able to work as part of a team In particular, successful applicants should ideally have Experience of working with children in a school setting Knowledge of child safeguarding procedures An understanding of positive behaviour strategies We provide a comprehensive induction and training programme.
