About the role
MAIN PURPOSES OF THE JOB
To support the classroom teacher with their responsibility for the development and education of small pupil groups and working 1:1 with pupils who have special educational needs, by demonstrating a good standard of practical knowledge and skills.
Hours of work are 8.45am - 1.15pm Monday to Friday The successful candidate will need to have:
- Patience, a caring attitude and a desire to nurture children.
- The ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the children across the school.
- High expectations of all children both academically and socially.
- A belief in a rounded education, with all areas of the curriculum being valued.
- A desire to help children to find their unique talents.
- A desire to promote good outcomes for all children and support our Christian vision.
- A strong commitment to teamwork.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
- An understanding of positive behaviour management techniques.
