School: Gorsefield Primary School, Robertson Street, Radcliffe, M26 4DW Job title : Level 1 Teaching Assistant Contract: Fixed Term – August 2027 Directorate: F orward As One CE Multi Academy Trust Bolton Reporting to: Headteacher Grade: NJC 03 – NJC 04 (£25,614 - £26,016 per annum pro rata) Hours : 30 hours per week, TTO Start Date: 12 th October 2026 Closing Date: 16 th September 2026 – 12pm Interview Date: 21 st September 2026 We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school team. The successful candidate will support teaching and learning across the school, working with individuals and small groups to help pupils thrive. Key Duties: Supporting pupils’ learning, interaction and independence Assisting teachers with classroom organisation and activities Supporting literacy, numeracy and ICT tasks Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion We are looking for someone who is: Caring and patient, with a genuine passion for supporting children Reliable and organised , with good communication skills Able to work effectively as part of a team Willing to learn and develop professionally Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children A relevant Level 1 qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable.
