About Great Bedwyn C of E School Our school is set in the thriving village of Great Bedwyn, surrounded by farmland and sitting on the outskirts of Savernake Forest. The Role Great Bedwyn Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a Fixed Term Contract ending on 31st August 2027, with the possibility of extension/permanency. The role may include providing individual support for a pupil with additional learning needs as well as working with whole class and small groups of children, under the direction of teaching staff, to ensure all pupils make excellent progress and reach their full potential. We would consider a job share for the right candidate Our Ideal Candidate: Enjoys working with children and values learning and development. SEND experience (essential) Calm, flexible, organised, and a strong team player. Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Has prior experience working with children (preferred). Coaching and ESMH support experience desirable. Maintains integrity, confidentiality, and strong communication skills.
