About the role

5 Dimensions Trust is currently advertising for the following exciting permanent opportunity to start at Shenley Brook End School Preparing for Adulthood Specialist Teaching Assistant Permanent Salary: Grade 5 £28,607 - £32,045 p.a pro rata, £24,825 - £27,808 p.a actual 37 hours per week, term time plus training days (39 weeks per year) Mon - Thurs 8.15am - 4.15pm and Fri 8.15am - 3.45pm with a half hour unpaid break An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly efficient and organised person to become the Preparing for Adulthood Teaching Assistant for Shenley Brook End School. You will work as part of the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Team in supporting students with a variety of needs to access the curriculum in mainstream lessons, or in a group or one to one intervention outside of the classroom. You will work in collaboration with colleagues in the SEND Team as directed by the SENCO. The ideal candidate will: - Have previous experience of working with SEND students of varying needs Have the ability to communicate effectively with young people. Have experience of working within an education setting. Want to make a difference to the children in our care.
