We have an exciting opportunity for a SEND teaching assistant to join our team. Our school is a warm, happy and friendly school rated. We have a child centred approach in all that we do.  Hours of work, Monday & Tuesday 7.30am – 3.30pm.

We are looking for the ideal candidate who:

Has extensive experience of supporting children with SEND and additional needs. Is nurturing, patient, calm and kind, with the ability to build trusting relationships. Can provide consistent, individualised support and help children to regulate, engage and access their learning. Has a strong understanding of sensory, communication, emotional and behavioural needs. Can remain calm and positive when faced with challenging situations. Works closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and wider team to implement and monitor support strategies. Shows initiative, enthusiasm and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference. Has excellent attendance and is committed to building strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
