Carleton Rode Primary School is a welcoming and nurturing village school at the heart of its community. We are looking to appoint a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This fixed-term position will involve providing tailored support for a Key Stage 2 pupil, helping them to access learning, develop confidence and thrive both academically and socially. We are looking for someone who: Has experience of supporting children with SEND. Has knowledge of, or experience in, using de-escalation strategies to support children effectively. Demonstrates strong literacy and numeracy skills. Is positive, flexible and enthusiastic, with a good sense of humour. Can build strong relationships with children, staff and families. Works effectively as part of a team and is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school. Is committed to helping all children feel happy, safe and successful. Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 3.15pm, 30 hours per week.
