Job description

Teaching Assistant for Deaf Pupils Nova Primary Academy Deaf Hub is excited to grow our team of signing teaching assistants. The Hub offers 12 places to Deaf pupils with EHCPs and provides centre of expertise support for meeting Deaf pupil needs in Peterborough. This position will allow the school to ensure Deaf pupils can access the mainstream curriculum through high-quality signing and support and develop the outreach we can offer. The salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and BSL signing level. Salary ranging from NJC Grade 6 or 7 £26,402 to £32,061 full-time equivalent (actual salary between £16,684 to £20,124). This is a 4-day role (exact working hours to be determined and agreed upon successful appointment).
