About the role

Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives? Salfords Primary School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive team on a part time, permanent basis (12.5hrs per week Thurs and Friday). This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting children's education and development within a school setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist in delivering educational programmes, helping students achieve their full potential by supporting their day-to-day learning activities.

What we're looking for:

A good general education, including GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C or above).

Basic IT skills to support learning and administrative tasks.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to clarify instructions and engage students effectively.

The ability to plan, prioritise tasks, and follow teacher guidance.

A professional and confidential approach to working with children.

Strong time management and organisation skills to maintain records and assist in classroom setup.

A trustworthy, approachable, and passionate attitude towards making a positive impact on students’ lives.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, in line with GLF Schools' policies.

This role is perfect for someone who is dedicated, patient, and enthusiastic about helping students reach their full potential within a supportive school environment.
