School: St John with St Michael Primary School, Moss Side Street, Rochdale, OL12 8EP Directorate: Forward As One CE Multi Academy Trust Bolton Reporting to: Headteacher Job title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant Contract : Fixed Term – 31.08.2027 Grade: NJC 04 – NJC 06 (£26,016 - £26,847 per annum, pro rata) Hours : 28.75 hours per week Working Weeks : 43.6 working weeks (Term Time Only) Start Date: 2 nd November 2026 Closing Date: 2 nd October 2026 - 12 noon Interview Date: 15 th October 2026 We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and talented teaching assistant to join our dedicated staff team. We require a teaching assistant who can provide exciting and stimulating learning opportunities and support the child throughout all aspects of school life. Applicants must be committed to further enhancing the very high standards which already exist in the school and be patient and kind to support the child/ren in their transition. The successful candidate will also be expected to make a valuable contribution to whole school development and to enriching the experiences of our pupils and will be fully supported by the school and the Trust.
