About the role

Flanderwell is a fabulous school with fantastic staff and children who are aspirational and are keen to learn and engage. We are a growing, happy school with children at the heart of everything we do. Our motto of ‘Be Safe, Be Seen, Stay Supported and Achieve Success’, reflects the emphasis on ensuring that each child in our care grows, flourishes and is prepared for life in the modern world. Our school serves a very mixed catchment area which includes the Flanderwell Estate, Sunnyside and Woodlaithes Village. Many of our pupils travel from out of the catchment to attend Flanderwell. The majority of our children go on to attend Wickersley School and Sports College, with whom we have strong links. We are an Academy within the Diocese of Sheffield Academies Trust and actively engage with the many development opportunities across the trust.
