Rushden Primary Academy is a securely good school on the journey to becoming great. We are ambitious for our children, our staff and our community, and we are looking for someone who shares that ambition. We are seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing and hardworking Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our Reception team. This role will primarily support learning within our Reception provision. However, at Rushden Primary Academy, inclusion is not the responsibility of a few individuals; it is at the heart of everything we do. As such, you will also support children with SEND across our Reception classes, working both within classrooms and within our specialist provision to ensure every child feels successful, valued and able to achieve their potential. We are looking for someone who embraces inclusion, champions every child and understands that meeting individual needs is an integral part of excellent teaching and learning. What makes our EYFS special? Our Early Years provision is bespoke, creative and child-centred. No two days are ever the same. Learning happens indoors and outdoors through exploration, play and carefully planned experiences that inspire curiosity, independence and a lifelong love of learning. This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit behind a table all day.
Love being around young children. Isn't afraid to look a little silly if it helps children learn. Can bring energy, creativity and enthusiasm to every day. Enjoys role play, storytelling, singing and outdoor learning. Is happy to be outside whatever the weather. Believes that relationships are at the heart of great education. Is committed to their own continuous learning and professional development.

A positive culture where colleagues genuinely care for one another. Leaders who invest in staff development and wellbeing. A brand-new EYFS outdoor learning environment currently being developed. High-quality CPD and career development opportunities. The opportunity to make a real difference every single day. Thinking about becoming a teacher? We are proud to be a training school with a strong track record of developing our own talent. If teaching is something you may wish to pursue in the future, this role provides an excellent foundation, with opportunities to learn, grow and develop within a supportive environment. Above all, we are looking for someone with the right attitude: someone who is passionate about children, committed to continuous improvement and excited by the opportunity to be part of a school that refuses to stand still. If you have the drive, energy and enthusiasm to help shape the lives of our youngest learners, we would love to hear from you. Come and join us on our journey from good to great.
