Teaching Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Stradbroke Primary School. Our Governors are seeking to appoint a dedicated, highly skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will support teaching and learning within our Integrated Resource Specialist Provision, working alongside children with complex SEND needs. You will play an important role in supporting pupils to develop their learning, communication, independence and wider life skills, while helping them to make progress towards the outcomes identified in their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Stradbroke is a vibrant and inclusive learning community of approximately 500 pupils, including a large nursery and an Integrated Resource provision for children with complex SEND needs. Following our most recent inspection in summer 2022, the school continues to be judged Good in all areas. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about inclusive education and is committed to making a positive difference to the lives of children. The successful candidate will be someone who can bring enthusiasm, creativity and a positive approach to supporting pupils with a wide range of needs.
