Appointment of KS2 Level 3 Teaching Assistant Grade 6, SCP 7 (£13.69-£14.59) - Dependant on Experience Actual Annual Salary - £17,155.56 28.45 hours per week - Monday - Friday, 8:40am - 3:10pm Permanent Term time only Required ASAP or September 2026 (Subject to DBS clearance) We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at Harlescott Junior School. This is a position which supports inclusive learning and pupil development across Key Stage 2. About the Role: The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the SEND team to support pupils’ learning, emotional wellbeing, and social development. You will help deliver targeted interventions, assist with classroom activities, and contribute to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment. We are looking for someone who: Has experience working with children in a school setting Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive practice and pupil wellbeing Is flexible, patient, and proactive in supporting learning Can work effectively as part of a team and independently Holds a relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent We offer: A welcoming and supportive school community Opportunities for professional development A strong commitment to inclusive education and continuous improvement The Severn Bridges Multi-Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and expect all staff and volunteers to share the same commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; pre-employment checks will be carried out, references will be sought and successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and other relevant checks with statutory bodies.
