About the role

Early Years Teaching Assistant (Part-Time, Term-Time Only) We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team. The successful candidate will primarily support learning and development within our Nursery provision, helping to create a nurturing, engaging and stimulating environment where our youngest learners can thrive. This role is for two or three days per week, term time only, from 8:15am to 3:30pm. While primarily based in Nursery, the successful candidate will also be expected to work flexibly across the school as required. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, enthusiastic and committed to supporting all children to achieve their full potential. As a Catholic school, we are proud of our strong ethos and values, placing Christ at the centre of all we do. We strive to create a welcoming, inclusive and nurturing community where every child, family and member of staff feels valued, respected and that they truly belong. The successful candidate will support the Catholic life and mission of the school and contribute to our culture of kindness, respect and care for one another. It is not essential for applicants to be Catholic; however candidates must be willing to support the Catholic ethos, values of the school. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with young children, excellent communication skills and a warm, nurturing approach. A relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification is desirable but not essential. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and all safer recruitment checks
