About the role

The St John Paul II Multi Academy is a highly successful Catholic Multi Academy encompassing eleven Primary Schools and two Secondary Schools. Our schools are located in the northern area of Birmingham, Tamworth and Lichfield. The ethos of St John Paul II Multi Academy is Catholic and was founded by the Catholic Church to provide education for children of Catholic families. As a Catholic multi academy, we aim to provide a Catholic education for all our pupils. As a Catholic multi academy, Catholic doctrine and practice permeate every aspect of every one of our school’s activities. It is essential that the Catholic character of the school’s education be fully supported by all staff within the multi academy. We therefore hope that all staff will give their full, unreserved and positive support for the aims and ethos of the St John Paul II Multi Academy.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistants Level 3 who are ready to make a real impact. In this role, you’ll work closely with class teachers, families and the SENDCo to ensure every pupil is fully included and engaged in school life. Your support will help create a vibrant, nurturing and inclusive environment where children feel confident, valued and able to thrive. We understand the importance of balancing work and personal commitments and are therefore happy to consider a range of flexible working arrangements, including:

  • Flexible days across the school week.
  • Hours that accommodate school drop-off and collection times, for example, 9.20am to 2.50pm.
  • Shorter working days or specific mornings or afternoons.
  • Any other combination of hours or days that applicants may wish to propose. We welcome applications from candidates seeking flexible working patterns, subject to the needs of the school.
