About the role

Teaching Assistant West Monkton C of E Primary School, part of The Oak Partnership Trust, is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join their team. We are seeking a flexible and adaptable individual who can respond positively to the varying needs of our pupils and school. The successful candidate will provide support to pupils on a 1:1 basis, as well as working with small intervention groups.

Key responsibilities will include:

Providing 1:1 support for pupils with a range of specific SEND needs, as required. Supporting and delivering learning activities with small intervention groups. Putting into practice adaptations to learning as identified by class teachers and the SENDCo. Working collaboratively with class teachers, the Pastoral Assistant and fellow Teaching Assistants to provide effective support for pupils. Desirable experience:

Previous experience of working within an educational setting. Experience of supporting pupils with SEND. Experience of working with children with High Needs. Salary: Grade 15 point 3, £17,571 per annum, pro rata Hours of work: 30hrs 25min per week. Term time only - 38 weeks per year Start Date : ASAP Contract: Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2027
